SAP has certified young professionals in generative artificial intelligence in Türkiye for the first time, following the completion of the 16th cohort of its Young Professionals Program.
Istanbul - A total of 29 participants, selected from more than 1,500 applicants, completed an intensive two-month training programme designed to equip early-career talent with future-ready digital skills. Graduates received globally recognised certifications, including SAP Certified Associate – SAP Generative AI Developer and SAP Certified Associate – Integration Developer.
The milestone marks the first time generative AI certification has been introduced within the programme in Türkiye. Alongside AI-focused training, participants received education in SAP Business AI, SAP Business Data Cloud, clean core management, enterprise architecture and professional development skills.
Running in Türkiye for seven years, the SAP Young Professionals Program has supported the employability of 369 young professionals to date, with almost all graduates placed into roles across the SAP ecosystem. The graduation event was attended by SAP partners including Haratres, SOA People, PwC and SabancıDx.
Globally, the SAP Young Professionals Program operates in 42 countries and has trained more than 4,500 participants since its launch in 2012. The initiative is managed by SAP’s Digital Skills Center and aims to prepare new talent for careers in enterprise technology.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Tuna Atmaca, Solution Group Director at SAP Türkiye, said that artificial intelligence, data and enterprise applications are increasingly converging, reshaping how businesses create value. He added that Türkiye is well positioned to become a key contributor to global digital transformation.
SAP Türkiye said it will continue investing in education and certification programmes to strengthen the country’s digital skills base and expand its enterprise technology ecosystem.
