Poltio, which transforms e-commerce customer experiences through AI-powered digital shopping assistants and interactive, data-driven customer engagement solutions, has completed a US$1 million investment round to accelerate its global growth ambitions.
The investment round was led by Rota Portfolio Technology Venture Capital Investment Fund (GSYF) and Inveo Ventures, with participation from InMerge Ventures, Mentor’s Fund, and BFV Investments. As part of the T-Gate ecosystem, Poltio received investment advisory services from Turkish Menkul Değerler, financial advisory services from Cevherler, and legal advisory support from Karaçam & Şir and BD Lawyers.
Poltio develops AI-powered shopping assistants that guide users toward the most suitable products through interactive, real-time conversations. Through its guided selling solutions designed specifically for e-commerce, the platform delivers personalised product recommendations while enabling first-party data collection and audience segmentation, significantly increasing conversion rates (CvR) and average order value (AOV).
The platform has demonstrated its scalability through strong performance metrics across multiple industries. Poltio has increased conversion rates by 108% in the personal care and cosmetics category and by 51% in the technology category, while delivering an average 21% increase in average order value. These results demonstrate that AI-powered guided selling provides a measurable and sustainable growth model for e-commerce businesses.
In addition to improving conversion performance, Poltio offers data-driven and gamified engagement solutions that increase customer interaction while enabling data collection and advanced segmentation capabilities.
According to the company’s 2025 usage data, Poltio’s infrastructure is actively used across 23 countries and 12 languages. During 2025, more than 27 million questions were answered through the platform across global and local e-commerce websites, generating over 6.5 million sessions and engaging with more than 5.5 million unique users through experiences designed to understand customer needs in depth and provide real-time product recommendations.
Poltio plans to use the investment to accelerate international expansion, develop new product features, and further enhance its product experience and AI capabilities. As AI-powered shopping assistants continue to gain widespread adoption, the guided selling category is becoming increasingly strategic within the e-commerce ecosystem, creating additional opportunities for Poltio to strengthen its global position.
Commenting on the investment, Poltio Founder and CEO Ahmet Tosun said:
“Understanding customers and guiding them toward the right products is no longer a competitive advantage in e-commerce; it has become a standard expectation. While Poltio operates across multiple industries, we have established a particularly strong leadership position in guided selling through projects with global brands in the home appliances sector. With this investment, we aim to deepen our product capabilities and position Poltio as a leading global e-commerce technology platform across all verticals. This investment round also marks an important milestone for some of our early angel investors, who have successfully achieved their first exit through Poltio.”
